Hargaret Participate Community

No matter who we are or where we come from, it’s totally normal to feel like we belong to our community and to something bigger than ourselves. Participating in the community makes you feel more connected to people and our environment, which is good for your well-being. Your well-being also affects different parts of life, such as education, employment, health, and happiness. Your well-being is our top priority, and we want to help you improve it. At Hargaret, we offer social and community participation services that are made to fit the needs of each person with a disability and help them do things that give their lives more purpose and meaning.

We have a very well-trained support team who help our participants get involved in community events and, in the process achieve independence. We focus on resilience, well-being, and personal growth so that you will begin to feel more connected to your local community. You’ll be able to gain confidence and knowledge of yourself. You will discover new things to do and learn, and you’ll be able to improve your ability to solve problems and learn more about what is expected of you in a society. Through side-by-side practise, Hargaret’s highly skilled staff help participants increase their chances of getting involved in the community, getting a job, and living independently. We use a community-based, capacity-building approach, working with you, teaching, coaching and mentoring you to finally see you move on to an independent, safe, satisfying and happy life.

Hargaret focuses on resilience, well-being, and personal growth to help people connect with their communities. However, each service is customised to fit the participant and their goals so that they can get the most out of it. People who use this programme can get help working on:
