Hargaret Life Skills Development
Your Hargaret support member will teach you how to do things like cook, clean, and get around your community. We know what your goals are and work with you and your family or caregivers to set up ways to help you learn everyday skills, with a focus on building your confidence and ability to do things on your own.
We offer services to help you and your family or caregivers deal with the problems you face every day and to put in place plans that will make it easier for you to handle these challenges.
We teach people how to do daily tasks, how to communicate and interact with others, how to solve problems, and how to manage the money for their supports. This can be done one-on- one or in groups.
To help people deal with the challenges they face every day, we offer a wide range of training and development activities. These activities focus on building their ability to deal with everyday life by improving their knowledge, skills, and support networks.
We can help you learn and improve life skills like personal hygiene, using the toilet, taking care of yourself, making a healthy meal, keeping your home clean, doing your laundry, talking to service providers and support networks, travelling, using public transportation, and many other things, depending on your needs.
We’ll help you get better at speaking up for your needs and getting in touch with the people and places that can help you. It can be hard to understand the NDIS and other services. Your Support Worker and Support Coordinator can help you get what you want.
Send us a note here and include any questions you might have and one of our support team will call you and you can talk about our services and how we can provide the help you need?
